Glen Williamson and Lauri Portocarrero -Crafted from actual events and discourse, Fire in the Templedramatizes the last days of teacher and clairvoyant Rudolf Steiner and brings to the stage the people who surrounded him. Ancient memories and faithful friendships persist, as Dr. Steiner works to waken people to hidden realities. His pupils struggle to grasp their task, but religious and political enemies oppose him. Two extraordinary women, his wife Marie Steiner von Sivers and physician Dr. Ita Wegman, are among those who stood by him until the very day of his death – and beyond. Their personal conflicts, hopes and sorrows are sensitively portrayed in this rigorously researched drama. http://AnthroposTheater.com
