Whitsun Reading on June 8, 2014

Nashville anthroposophists will gather to celebrate the Whitsun festival on Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 2:30-4 PM with a reading of Rudolf Steiner’s 1910 lecture “Whitsun: the Festival of the Free Individuality” (GA118). Copies of the reading will be provided.

Reading and Memorial for Phyllis Phillips

There will be a reading and a memorial for Phyllis Phillips, the founder of the Nashville Rudolf Steiner Study Group, who crossed the threshold on April 1, 2014. The reading will take place Tuesday, April 8 at 7:00 p.m, and the memorial will take place on Saturday, April 12 at 2:30 p.m. Both events will be held at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Nashville, 1808 Woodmont Blvd., Nashville, Tennessee 37215. Everyone is welcome.


Biodynamic Association President on “Food, Spirituality and Social Change” April 17

On Thursday, April 17, Nashville welcomes Biodynamic Association President Robert Karp and Program Director Thea Carlson for “Food, Spirituality and Social Change,” a presentation and conversation on biodynamic agriculture and the future of the food movement at 7:00 p.m  at the Center for Spiritual Living, 6705 Charlotte Pk., Nashville, TN 37209.
