Frederick Amrine to Speak on “American Spirituality: Eurythmy and the History of Dance” March 1, 2015
Professor Frederick Amrine will speak on “American Spirituality: Eurythmy and the History of Dance” on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the home of Barbara Bittles at 313 Lauderdale Rd., Nashville, TN 37205.
Amrine is a professor at the University of Michigan, where his research has been devoted primarily to Goethe and German Idealism. A life-long anthroposophist, he is a past editor of the Anthroposophical Society in America newsletter. Among his many publications are “Discovering a Genius: Rudolf Steiner at 150” and “Anthroposophy in the Light of Goethe’s Faust.”
